The Floral Fern

Brand Identity · Art Direction · Social Media

A botanical concept designed to bring the beauty of nature into everyday life.

The Brief

The Concept

Visual Identity

The concept explores the connection between plants, flowers, and the people who care for them.

Rather than positioning The Floral Fern simply as a place to buy flowers, the brand was imagined as a small botanical destination—a place to discover, grow, and reconnect with nature.

The visual direction combines organic forms, soft typography, natural textures, and a curated color palette, creating an identity that feels contemporary while retaining a sense of warmth and timelessness.

The identity was designed to feel botanical without being overly literal.

Organic shapes and delicate details subtly reference leaves, petals, stems, and natural growth, while a clean and intentional composition keeps the system versatile.

This balance allows the identity to move naturally between expressive floral applications and more minimal, plant-focused communications.

The Result

The Floral Fern was envisioned as a modern plant and flower shop with a visual identity that feels fresh, warm, and approachable, balancing the organic nature of botanicals with a refined contemporary aesthetic.

The identity needed to extend beyond the storefront, creating a cohesive experience across floral arrangements, packaging, social media, advertising, and customer communications.

The visual language was extended into a social media direction centered around storytelling, education, and community.

Content was designed to make the brand feel active and approachable online, from plant care and seasonal collections to floral arrangements, workshops, promotions, and behind-the-scenes moments.

The goal was not simply to sell plants and flowers, but to create a digital presence that inspires people to bring more nature into their everyday spaces.

The final identity creates a botanical brand that feels welcoming, intentional, and contemporary, with a flexible visual system designed to grow alongside the business.

Across every touchpoint, the concept comes back to one simple idea.

Nature has a way of making every space feel more alive.
